2018 IHBB and IGB Canadian Championships


Information on the 2018 IHBB and IGB Canadian Championships will be posted here when available. We anticipate that our 2018 Championships will be held in May 2018, most likely in or near Toronto. The schedule of events is likely to be similar or identical to the schedule posted below that was used in 2017. The costs of the 2018 IHBB and IGB Canadian Championships have been announced here.
Students qualify for the International History Bee and Bowl Championships by finishing in the top half of students or teams in the Bee or the Bowl at any regional tournament in Canada. Students qualify for the International Geography Bee Canadian Championships by finishing in the top half of students in their age division on either the Alpha or Beta version of the IGB Championships Qualifying Exam, either at the site where they take it, or for all students taking the exam across Canada.

Report from the 2017 IHBB and IGB Canadian Championships

The International History Bee and Bowl held the third annual Canadian History Bee and Bowl Championships on Saturday, April 29 at Lisgar Collegiate Institute in Ottawa. Congratulations to our champions!
