The 2026 International Academic Competitions Canadian National Championships will be held in Ottawa, Ontario on April 18th and 19th, 2026, generously hosted by Glebe Collegiate Institute. Students will compete for National titles in the International History Bee and Bowl, the International History Bee, the International Geography Bee, and the International Science Bee. Students competing at the Canadian National Championships also have the opportunity to compete in the Canadian Championship Exams. Registration for all events at the Canadian National Championships will open in January 2026.

Saturday, April 18th
  • 8:00 AM – Doors open
  • 8:10-8:30 – Check-In
  • 8:40 – Map & Flag Exam
  • 9:00 – International Geography Bee Opening Meeting
  • 9:15-11:00 – International Geography Bee Rounds 1-3
  • 11:15 – International Geography Bee Finals
  • 11:45 – Awards for Map & Flag Exam and International Geography Bee
  • 12:00 – Historical Geography Exam Check-In
  • 12:25 – Historical Geography Exam
  • 12:45-1:00 – International History Bowl Check-In
  • 1:15 – 4:10 – International History Bowl Rounds 1-5
  • 4:20-4:30 – Military History Exam Check-In
  • 4:40 – Military History Exam
  • 5:10 – Bowl Semifinals / Round 6
  • 5:45 – Bowl Finals
  • 6:15 – Awards for Historical Geography Exam, Military History Exam, and International History Bowl

Sunday, April 19th

  • 8:30-8:45 – International History Bee Check-In
  • 8:50 – International History Bee Opening Meeting

  • 1:50 -3:45 – International Science Bee Rounds 1-3
  • 4:00 – Science Bee Finals
  • 4:30 Awards for Biology Exam and International Science Bee
