International Academic Competitions is pleased to announce the 2023 Ottawa History Bee and Bowl, taking place at Glebe Collegiate Institute in Ottawa on Saturday, April 22, 2023!
Registration for the Ottawa History Bee and Bowl has closed. For late registration, contact canada@iacompetitions.com for the late registration form. We look forward to welcoming you and your team to Ottawa in April!
Exams: During the lunch break, we will offer the National Qualifying Exams for the International Geography Bee and International Science Bee. Each exam costs $10 per student.
Note for Middle/Elementary students: Middle and Elementary school teams and students are welcome to participate at this tournament in all events (History Bowl, History Bee, Geography Bee, and Science Bee). If there are at least 3 middle/elementary school teams that take part, a separate middle school division of the bowl will be set up. Otherwise, middle/elementary school teams will be entered in the JV division.
Schedule: The schedule as listed below is considered tentative, and therefore may still be subject to slight changes based on turnout until registration closes, at which point it will be confirmed. Students and teams looking for further guidance on the schedule should contact the Tournament Coordinator at canada@iacompetitions.com.
