International Academic Competitions is pleased to announce its Canada March Online History Bee and Bowl on March 13-14, 2027! For this tournament, the Bee will take place Saturday, from 1:00 PM EST until 5:00 PM EST, and the Bowl will be Sunday, beginning at 10:00 AM EST and running until approximately 6:00 PM EST. This event will use the Alpha question set; please review the Alpha Set Study Guide on the Resources Page to help prepare.
Registration for this event will open soon. Preregistration closes on March 5th at 11:59 pm EST. Teams and individuals can still register with a late fee, but registrations are no longer guaranteed. Bee and Bowl Events
Bowl teams and Bee players start with several preliminary rounds (5 or 6 rounds in the Bowl, and 3 rounds for the Bee). After the prelims finish, the top Bowl teams will play in a single elimination playoff, while the top Bee players will play a 4th and final round. The number of teams/individuals playing in playoffs will vary depending on the field size; your Tournament Director will announce this on the day of the tournament. There will be plaques for the top Bowl teams and medals for the top 3 Bee players in each division. Additionally, the top Bowl teams and Bee players can also qualify for our Canadian National Championships in June, as well as the International History Olympiad in Berlin this summer!
